Food was a good at the weekend but a little too much alcohol. My goal for this week is to cut down on my drinking. Just going to drink a couple of beers at weekends now rather than drink every night. Wine is definately off the menu now as it makes me so hungry. Fingers crossed I've lost a couple of pounds!

I had a few too many cashew nuts in the afternoon but apart from that it was a great day. I had one bottle of beer in the evening and that helped me to have one of the best nights sleep I have had in ages. Sleep is one of the key things to a healthy diet I've decided.

I'm happily tucking into my grilled chicken breast with beetroot and I'm not even thinking about bad junk food.

Going to start doing a 30 minute walk per day from today. Tomorrow is a trip to the bullring so many miles will be walked tomorrow.

Well it was not perfect, I was supposed to have a handful of cashew nuts in the afternoon and I ended up having 3 handfuls and I was supposed to have a hot milk in the evening and I put a whisky in it. The rest of the day was perfect though so I'm not going to dwell.

I weighed myself at boots last night and I am actually 11 stone 13 pound so that is going to be my official starting weight. Ideally I want to loose nearly 4 stone but I'm going to set realistic goals and aim for half a stone at a time.

My goal now it to get to 11 stone 6 pound so that I can have a pampering day. It will be worth it when I'm lay on that couch having a back massage!

I had weetabix, sultanas and milk for breadfast and I've just had a banana for a snack. The sun is shining so the thought of having to wear shorts is keeping me going. I had a healthy tin of tuna with tomato and olives for lunch but nothing for an afternoon snack. I'm going to have to find something healthy to have later, maybe a yogurt! I've got to try not to eat too many dairy things though and think of other snacks. I know, I could buy some nuts to snack on. Not roasted or salted though!

All I can think about it food!

My healthy weight range for my 5 feet one height is 7 stone 1 pound to 9 stone 8 pound. I have therefore got to loose 2 stone 4 pound to be in the healthy range. That is 32 pound. A healthy target loss of 2 pound per week will take me 16 weeks so I should get there by September! It seems ages away at the moment but when I think how quickly the year has gone so far it's not that long.

Well, next question. How am I going to do it???? I'm going to eat 3 small meals per day. No snacking but one milky drink at night to fill me up before bed and help me to sleep.

Meal ideas are:
Breakfast - Cereal and milk/Fruit and yogurt/Toast and Jam
Lunch - Tuna or Salmon and Salad/Bowl of vegetable soup with croutons/Sushi
Dinner - Any lean protein with any veg.

If I can stick to that the weight loss should come.

Oh, I also need to exercise. I may start with a 30 minute power walk per day to be getting on with. A good way to catch some rays when the sun comes out.

It's not going to be easy but it's going to be worth it.

In 2002 I went on holiday a lovely size 10 weighing around 8 stone 7 pound. I'm now a couple of pounds off 12 stone. Where did it all go wrong???????

I really want to loose weight and be healthy. I am going to aim for a target weight of 9 stone. For each half a stone lost I'm going to treat myself to something and the first treat is a spa day.

As mentioned my current weight is around 11 stone 12 pound. My waist measurement is around 36 inches and my BMI is 31 which I think is classed as obesce. I am a size 16 top and a size 14 bottom. I am also unfit. I've got a lot to work on!

I have spent £186 on clothes this week in a size 14/12 and I want to take drastic measures to fit into them by the time the weather gets warm.

It's depressing as I don't even want to book a holiday as I don't want to expose flesh and I'm getting a bit miserable to live with as I don't really want to go out socialising.

Anyway, I'm going to have a trip to boots to confirm my weight etc. I may treat myself to a Mcflurry when I am out, my last treat for a while,

Wish me luck with the diet!
